Heli Everest Receives Letter of Appreciation from Airbus Foundation for Humanitarian Mission in Nepal
Heli Everest Pvt. Ltd. has received a formal Letter of Appreciation from the Airbus Foundation, recognising its contribution to a humanitarian relief mission conducted in Nepal following the devastating flash floods of 26 August 2026.
The mission, carried out in collaboration with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), focused on delivering essential food and non-food supplies to communities isolated by severe flooding across the Bhote Koshi–Trishuli–Narayani river system.
Supporting Humanitarian Relief Through Helicopter Operations

As part of the relief effort, Heli Everest provided helicopter support at a rate below standard market value, helping facilitate the timely transportation of humanitarian supplies to flood-affected communities.
The operation involved 25 flight hours, navigating challenging mountainous terrain, limited refuelling points, and uncontrolled landing zones.
In its appreciation letter addressed to Mr. Fur Gelje Sherpa, Chairman of Heli Everest Pvt. Ltd., the Airbus Foundation acknowledged the company's professionalism, operational discipline, and commitment to maintaining high safety standards throughout the deployment.
The letter, dated 6 October 2026 and signed by Hania Tabet, Managing Director of the Airbus Foundation, further recognised the contribution of Heli Everest's leadership in extending the reach of humanitarian assistance to communities in need.
Committed to Serving Communities Beyond Aviation
This recognition reflects Heli Everest's commitment to supporting humanitarian initiatives through its aviation capabilities, particularly when geographical challenges make conventional transportation difficult.
Heli Everest extends its sincere appreciation to the Airbus Foundation and IFRC for their humanitarian efforts and for recognising the company's contribution to this mission.
